Hi there! My name is Kowsar ([kʰoː'sær̥], but feel free to modify according to your own phonology). I'm a second-year Research Master's student, mostly interested in phonology and descriptive linguistics. In my free time you can find me playing folk music, volunteering at festivals, or painting portraits. I'm super excited to be chairing the conference and hope you all enjoy this year's program!

Howdy! I’m Zoë (well, one of them at least), and I’m a general helping hand in making this conference happen! I’m currently in my last year of my bachelor's, focussing on Descriptive Linguistics. My main interests include Japonic languages (especially Ryukyuan), Lexical Semantics and Ordinary Language Philosophy.

Hiya! My name is Sjors (/ʃorz~ʃors/, however that best fits your personal phonology (I say [ʃʷoʀ̥̆s])). I'm a fourth-year bachelor student focusing on sign languages, but I've also ventured into Bantu. Additionally, I'm a big fan of articulatory phonetics and teach workgroups for Speech Sounds of the World to the first years.

I'm currently the secretary of TWIST and am therefore in charge of communication between the board of the association and the ConferenCie.
